One delicious way to use up the bounty of okra we’ve recieved from the CSA is to pickle it. I pickled okra for the first time this week and much to my surprise it turned out great! I used this recipe as a jump start – Pickled Okra. I also pickled some green beans using this recipe, modifing it slightly by throwing in a bunch of basil. The basil gave the green beans a slightly sweet taste.
