Just wanted to share a couple of photos of our deliciously simple Sunday night dinner.
We roasted a chicken from White Oak Pastures with herbed butter (I like herbs de provence) and our White Doll turnips. We tossed some apples into the roasting pan, too. Served with a simple arugula salad with mustard vinaigrette, it was such a wonderful, comforting early fall supper.
I’ve got some more turnip ideas for the week, so keep on the lookout for posts about those yummy little roots. The kimchi demo at the EAV farmers market got me excited to try to make my own, so I may be adventuring into that territory with turnips, too. I’ll keep you posted! Cheers to a wonderful week!
